The countryside is certainly the wildest feature of Giglio. From its paths to the intense colours of spring, from the salty smell of the air to the autumn walks, there are quite a few rough aspects you can enjoy at Giglio, like, for example, the vineyards leaning vertically over the cliffs. Then there is the beautiful coast with its inlets and coves and white granite rocks as well as sand beaches and the Mediterranean bush.

The hotel L’arenella offers different possibilities to “get to know” the Island under the natural point of view. Many old paths are open again to allow an easy trekking. On request the hotel can organize special trekking to the most hidden places of the Island with the help of an expert guide.

Aromatherapy classes will be organize during the off season, with excursions and lessons taken right in the middle of the National Park of the Arcipelago Toscano. On requests we can also organize field trips to the nearby Island of Giannutri, very interesting from the nature standpoint and also for its archaeological site.
