From Giglio Porto, take the road direction of Giglio Castello and at the crossroad in Monticello turn right following the sign Arenella beach.
The Giglio Island is well connected with frequent ferries from Porto Santo Stefano The schedule vary according to the season. Two shipping companies provide the service.

If you are coming from the south (Rome) by Bus
Sata Bus Line Rome - Porto Santo Stefano, from May to September, departures are from Rome at Tiburtina and Ostiense Station.

If you come by train:
The station is of Orbetello Monte Argentario. From there, take the bus to Porto Santo Stefano (20 min. Approx.) and get off in front of the pier for Giglio island.

From the North
Highway A1 until Firenze-Certosa. At the exit, take the Firenze-Siena and from there the road to Grosseto. Arriving at the bypass in Grosseto continue towards Rome (SS 1 - Aurelia). Before Albinia (approx. 34 km after Grosseto), take the direction of Porto S. Stefano / Isola del Giglio.
From the north-west A11/A12 Motorway to Pisa-Livorno. Exit in Rosignano, take the Aurelia SS 1 (4 lanes) in t direction of Rome. Before of Albinia (approx. 34 km after Grosseto), take the direction of Porto S. Stefano / Isola del Giglio.
From the north-east Highway 13 to Bologna and then A1 towards Florence. At the exit Firenze Certosa, take the highway to Siena and then the road to Grosseto Rome (SS 1 - Aurelia). Before of Albinia (approx. 34 km after Grosseto), take the direction of Porto S. Stefano / Isola del Giglio.
From the South Take the A12 motorway towards Civitavecchia and then continue along the SS Aurelia (SS 1) exit Orbetello. Continue in the direction of Porto Santo Stefano / Isola del Giglio.
